About memorable moments...

Hello Friends,

Our journey through life is simply made up of memorable moments; those events that are forever emblazoned in our hearts and minds, and we know for sure from that moment on, our focus has changed.  Perhaps it's more about what the event or the interaction does for us in terms of how it renews our spirit, or maybe it's the unbelievable gift it gives to us in restoring how it is we feel about our self personally.

It may be simply that we feel alive in a way that touches to the core of us and that awakens afresh the passion within.  Whatever is the case, what I have come to know with certainty, is we must look for these moments for how they rejuvenate us and keep us in tune with what is most important.  To miss these moments is to miss the happiness of our life.  Until next time...

About atonement...

Hello Friends,

I would suppose when one thinks of the word atonement they think of  something that requires a spiritual experience.  Rather I tend to think of it in terms of what is required to make something right; in essence whole again.  What I mean by that, is knowing when nothing else comes to our heart and mind, we must simply ask the other person what is needed.  We are at loss to figure it out ourselves.

Perhaps it's because we know we disappointed them, or as importantly, we know we just didn't live up to the expectations they had of us; either way atonement means making it right.  What I have come to know with certainty is we can never take for granted those we hurt.  Rather, it is being in tune to the signals and messages, that allows us to constantly readjust.  In the end sometimes all we have is asking for forgiveness, and as importantly, forgiving ourselves in the process.  Until next time...

About being able...

Hello Friends,

George Elliott pens this most amazing phrase; "It's never too late to become the person you might have been."  I love the thoughts that come to my mind as I think about the determination and resolve we must find within ourselves.  Of utmost importance is the belief that this capability is ours to embrace.   So often we look to others to enable our goals and while their support is necessary and invaluable, it is only when we find the passion and the fire within, that we press on.

What I have come to know with certainty is the vision must be ever present in our mind and what it is we desire to have happen.  Without it we do not know what we are striving to achieve.  With that in mind, we focus on becoming the person we want to be, and find a way to action the dream we desire.  It is the daily renewal of our spirit that enables that very thing to happen.  Until next time...

About the will to win...

Hello Friends,

Life challenges us constantly but equally refreshes us anew each day.  With a restful mind and a never ending passionate heart it reminds us of our sheer desire to win and the work effort required.  It's rare we encounter events that just seem easy and require little from us.  Rather, we more often need a spark, a flame, or something that gives us hope we will make it.

What I have come to know with certainty is life does not always play fair.  Sometimes by the very nature of our tasks we are exhausted and that very thing makes us call into question our ability to win.  It is then we find the fighting spirit within ourselves;  the determination and resolve to rise above, figure things out, and make it to our goal.  Never give up short of enabling your dream to come true.  Until next time...

About it's never too late...

Hello Friends,

Life is full of experiences.  To wrap our heart and mind around all that life presents, is a natural part of our journey through life.  It is never too late to embrace something new especially if it's something that brings us joy.

Sometimes we find ourselves simply absorbed in the moment and we fail to see all that is right around us. We come to understand with certainty that life is not about what it was; more, it is about what is.  In that moment of understanding we touch and feel and embrace the warmth that is found in discovering new things.  Until next time...

About soaring to new heights...

Hello Friends,

The very thought and potential it takes to soar to new heights creates a vision of challenging moments.  What passion is required, and what sense of determination is enabled within us to get there?  Along the way there are obstacles to overcome and often walls to scale.  We encounter storms that throw us off our game and require us to constantly adjust our attitudes.

We must continually keep our eye on the goal and refocus our efforts ongoing to not be discouraged.  It is the journey and the effort that matters most.  With confidence in hand, we come to know with absolute certainty, we are soaring to new heights, and that very thing, makes all the difference.  Until next time...

About trying again...

Hello Friends,

What really counts most along our journey through life is simply the ability to keep trying again until we get it right.  While we sometimes beat ourselves up for not having it all figured out, the reality is we are ever redefining the boundaries and living through constant change and new experiences.

We trust that the principles we have learned are able to be applied and this very thing saves us from making wrong decisions.  The truth is we are not always prepared for the surprises that come our way.  In those moments, we must regroup our thoughts, apply our energies, and simply try again.  That is all we really have.  Until next time...

About choosing not to quit...

Hello Friends,

Everyday we have decisions to make along our journey through life.  It's never been optional in my mind to ever quit and give up short of reaching my goals.  I must admit I've been momentarily stopped and caused to step back, reassess, and wonder at times how to just keep pressing onward.

I love the quote that Emily Dickinson penned so long ago; "not knowing when the dawn will come, I open every door".  Perhaps that is the essence of not quitting.  What I mean by that is looking at all options and searching for every single thing that enables us to keep going.  I've come to know with certainty, this is the attitude we must embrace; with it we find success.  Until next time...

About being inconsolable...

Hello Friends,

There are moments as we travel on our journey through life when there are no words to describe our emotions except to say, we are inconsolable. We feel lost and our emotions numb from the pain our heart is going through.  More than anything else, we desire to to stop hurting and feel whole again.

The more we try to think things through and not think of the situation or how it is we feel, the greater our mind works to refuse to leave it behind.  As we process the emotions we come to know that it is only time that makes the moments easier.  We learn to move past feeling inconsolable and find our happiness again.  Until next time...

About written in stone...

Hello Friends,

There are somethings we discover along are journey through life that are written in stone; indelibly planted in the landscape and never to be changed.  Perhaps that helps us to adjust and understand it's importance and why things are that very way.  It's inherent in our nature to want to change things and the more we come to understand what's not changeable the happier and more content we become.

The boundaries are defined and the rules of engagement clearly laid out.  We respect these and live within them.  While we don't always like them or want to embrace them, we find in the process of embracing that which is written in stone a way to deal with them and find contentment.  Until next time...

About being rescued...

Hello Friends,

How wonderful to meet people on our journey,  who by their very presence, rescue us.  In the process of living our lives we are often overwhelmed and at a loss with what to do next.  In the right moment in time, they walk into our lives and rescue us. What I mean by that, is somehow they get to us, and help us to understand that what we feel, is okay.

Often they help us to look outside ourselves and see what is right in front that is ours to discover, and what we need to move on.  Perhaps that is the very essence of how they save us rather than offering words of advice. In the right moment in time, in the warmness of a conversation, or simply a hug, we find all that is needed to rescue us.  Until next time...

About facing the music...

Hello Friends,

I often reflect over what is means to have to face the music.  It's one of those terms that intrigues me and causes me to wonder if it refers to something different than I imagined.  Perhaps it's the result of what happens to you when you haven't handled a situation well and you now must face the consequences.

We take risks everyday and if we were to worry over every single one and the outcomes, we would miss the journey of our life.  It's important we are aware of that and not prevent ourselves from going for that which we so desire and live in fear of it.  Rather, we come to understand, and know with certainty, there will always be moments for facing the music.  We do so then, and figure it out.  Until next time...

About learning...

Hello Friends,

The opportunity to embrace learning is a wonderful thing.  How it energizes our mind with new knowledge and makes us see things differently is an amazing gift along our journey through life.  Sometimes it's the experience itself that teaches us what we learn rather than it being gained from a book; more often than not this is the case.

While at times it seems difficult to absorb all the learning our journey through life brings to us, it is important we take time for this part. We are ever changing from our experiences and in the process we come to know with certainty that embracing learning is as natural as waking up every day; it is a gift in our life.  Until next time...

About this is the time of my life...

Hello Friends,

I love the lyrics in the song 'This is the time of my life'.  They renew my spirit and remind me that anything that is worth while takes risk.  Sometimes we must simply stretch ourselves outside of our comfort zone.  In that time we discover all that is ready and waiting for us to embrace.  I have come to know with certainty we must throw our arms wide open and be receptive to what others can teach us with their wisdom and hearts.

These words in particular resound over and over again in my heart and mind;  "And I'll taste every moment, and live it out loud.  I know this is the time, this is the time to be, more than a name or face in the crowd.  I know this is the time of my life".   We need look no further for the joy that is ours to behold.  It was right in front of us all along.  Until next time...

About potential outcomes...

Hello Friends,

New ideas come to us every single day.  As we forward think to potential outcomes that result from embracing new thoughts and feelings, we are challenged to press on towards reaching our goals.  It's important along our journey through life that we continually seek out that which renews us afresh.

What I mean by that is so often we get wrapped up in just being present and surviving all that surrounds us. We wear down from simply being tired, overwhelmed, and stressed with all that must get done.  In the quiet moments of the day, we take time to decompress, and think about what's next on our journey and potential outcomes that will be realized on the way.  Until next time...

About being born all over again...

Hello Friends,

On our journey through life we experience these life changing moments.  We leave behind the past all the while never forgetting the indelible times that forever are emblazoned on our hearts.

Sometimes the experience is dramatic and our mind tries to process the impact.  We decide to never regret the moment; rather we choose to be born all over again.  Our perspective is altered, and the way we see things, is forever changed.  Until next time...

About pure adrenaline...

Hello Friends,

Sometimes the greatest things in our life are enabled by pure adrenaline.  The pure magic moves us onward and we believe with unwavering faith we will achieve that which we so desire to have.

While it's true we have moments when we are at our most tired state, and we question our ability to continue on, it is then by shear determination to not give in, we find pure adrenaline kicks in.  We know with certainty we are at our best.  Until next time...

About abstract thoughts...

Hello Friends,

How often do we allow our minds to wander and think abstract thoughts?  It's important we have those times for how they enable our mind to have a rest from all that we must process on a daily basis.  In the process of living our lives we discover we must have moments to rest our mind and to rejuvenate it.

We allow our thoughts to wander with no particulate purpose and discover the joy there is in momentarily stopping and thinking abstractly.  With no particular reasons why and no explanation required, we know with certainty we are refreshed and carry on.  Until next time...

About being organized...

Hello Friends,

One of the greatest skills we can  develop is that of being organized in our life and in our work.  One might even call it a gift to be treasured and one that enables incredible amounts of things to be achieved by our very focus.

Interestingly enough, when we fail to be organized, we often realize a sense of frustration that comes with a feeling of wasting time.  Sometimes, though, there is real value in not measuring every moment; rather we discover what it is to relax, rest, and regroup.  We come to know with certainty that this is time well  spent.  Until next time...

About tomorrow...

Hello Friends,

The words in the song 'tomorrow, tomorrow, I love you tomorrow, you're only a day away' captures my mind and makes me believe that everything worth while takes today, to plan for tomorrow.  It is equally a reminder that life is fragile and the moments fly by at lightning speed, so it's important to embrace every single one with arms wide open.

We must force ourselves in the process of being so busy to take good care of our minds and bodies; to find time for that which is important to us and love unconditionally that which makes us feel good inside.  While we have no control over tomorrow, it is in opening our hearts to the potential it brings that we look forward with a renewed spirit.  Until next time...

About pull a rabbit out of a hat...

Hello Friends,

Some things just seem like an impossible situation and we wonder what we can do to make it all work out.  The outcome we aspire to achieve eludes us and for a time we are momentarily frozen and simply do not know what to do next.

The answer sometimes lies in being able to pull a rabbit out of a hat.  What I mean by that is coming up with something unusual and unexpected; an element of surprise and intrigue.  It seems then that magically the answer appears and we know what needs to be done.  Until next time...

About Thanksgiving...

Hello Friends,

Thanksgiving is a reminder to stop and celebrate all that is good in our life.  It seems our moments are so filled with many things to do we hardly have time to breathe. Perhaps by the very fact that it is a holiday, we willingly pause and allow ourselves to reflect and embrace on the wonderful life we have.

It's so important that we do not lose sight of what is right in front of us.  In the midst of moving towards our goals and dreams, Thanksgiving causes us to leave aside all that we are wishing for and instead find all that we are truly grateful for.  Until next time...

About being intrigued...

Hello Friends,

I'm often intrigued by the things people do and the way in which they do it.  At times, it's because I'm simply puzzled, or maybe it's more because I can't fathom it.  Interesting, isn't it, why we care to understand and why it even matters to us.

What I have come to know with certainty is being intrigued is a good thing. It stretches our mind to step outside our self and figure out that which intrigues us most.  The key is in knowing how to embrace the moment, yet equally when to walk away and let it go.  Until next time...

About renewing our spirit...

Hello Friends,

The sun rises to a new dawn and a never ending opportunity to renew ourselves and our spirit a fresh each day. There is magic in knowing that yesterday is in the past and we cannot go back, although, at time, we want to.  Something in our heart draws us back there and it takes great focus and attention to the future to enable us to not pine over the past.

In the warmth of the sun's embrace we embrace the new dawn and find contentment in knowing that life is ever forgiving of the spirit.  In letting go of that which we have no control we find acceptance and know with certainty that today is a gift and a treasure. Until next time...

About unexpected pleasures...

Hello Friends,

Sometimes, in life, we experience unexpected pleasures.  What I mean by that, are the surprises that come our way, and we known with certainty, our life is richer from having been part of them. We didn't see them coming, nor did we ever expect them, but in the midst of our journey through life, they wrap their arms around us and we know in the process of accepting it, we are not the same.  We are changed.

Perhaps the greatest gift we can give ourselves is in not trying to understand it.  Rather it's the pleasure received from a newly acquired friend, the absolute unconditional love of someone close to us we already treasure, or even a compliment that comes our way, that provides the unexpected pleasure.   All in their own way serve to inspire us, make us try harder, and know with without question we are simply happier and loved.  Until next time...

About star quality...

Hello Friends,

How often do we meet people in our lives that exude star quality?  What I mean by that is the sense of confidence that makes them shine and we believe in them and their ability.  What's most important is we remember to tell them, that  they are stars.  It is the fuel that propels them onward.

We support their efforts while they give us the utmost respect and embrace with arms wide open what we are teaching them.  While I don't believe people are born with star quality, I do believe it is enabled by those who believe it is possible.  Until next time...

About desires...

Hello Friends,

Desires motivate us and enable our goals to be achieved.  How is it possible to work towards our dreams unless desire motivates us to get there?  Perhaps it's takes  passion first and then this drives the desire.  I am not really sure which comes first.

What I have come to know with certainty is we must aspire to greatness.  The desire to make a difference is the enabler.  It's not so much that in the end we know we feel we have personally turned out great; rather it is the desire to see others reach their potential.  That may be what makes the effort most worthwhile.  Until next time...

About storms we cannot weather...

Hello Friends,

At times along our journey through life, we are challenged to move past the obstacles that surround us and survive.  There will always be storms that happen and ones we know we cannot weather. In the process of living our lives, we resign ourselves we must let go and move on.

That's not to say we are defeated nor beaten down; rather we come to know with certainty that our happiness and joy are found in admitting we cannot figure it out and that is okay.  In giving in, we once again rediscover that life is not always easy, but it is ever forgiving of the spirit.  Until next time...

About being adaptable...

Hello Friends...

It takes great energy and focus to constantly adapt along our journey through life.  Perhaps the greatest enabler is our perspective and just how we see things fitting our circumstances. Sometimes we simply resist and refuse to adapt feeling we have a better way or a different approach.

What I have come to know with certainty is life simply changes around us ongoing.  While we do not always have to like the change it's important we embrace it and figure out how to work within it.  It is the key to finding and enabling our success.  All the best...

How often to do reflect over yesterday; about the circumstances, or how we wish we had a second chance  to do things differently?  Sometimes, things are are just outside our control and there is nothing we can do to change what has already taken place.

What I have come to know with certainty, is we cannot pine over yesterday; rather all we really have is tomorrow.  While it's important to reflect and learn from our experiences, to pine over it is to waste our life.  When we forward think, we enable our success.  Until next time...

About finding your strength...

Hello Friends,

On our journey through life we must learn to self assess and discover our strengths.  It's not so much about ever being boastful about what we discover; more it's about knowing for sure what those strengths are and then using them to the best of our ability in situations that arise.

Perhaps one of the greatest gifts we discover is that our strengths can be an enabler for others.  What I mean by that is learning to use those strengths and what we are most talented at to coach others to their success.  That is a core motivating factor and contributor to our own personal success.  Until next time...
