Hello Friends,
We spend so much of our lives thinking about and planning for the future. While that is important, at times it causes us to forget about the present. What I mean by that is our energies and reserves are caught up in what we must do to get ready for the future that it causes us to sometimes miss the very opportunities that are right in front of us wanting our attention.
What I have come to know with certainty is the future is important; that's true. More important though, is right now, and what it is we are doing to find joy and happiness in our life. If we miss this time, we miss the things that most require our energy and devotion. It is where we find our sense of contentment and knowing we are living everyday to the fullest. The future lies ahead but today is the real gift; that is, the present moment. Until next time...
