I have never wanted to blend in. I didn't set out in my career to be like that. I discovered it was in my nature to see things differently. I had to decide if in fact that was a good thing and perhaps have reflected more on that than most other things in my career. You see I love all things motivational and think of it as somewhat inherent in me to inspire others. It's not that people come up to me and ask me for such inspiration, more that it is intuitive in my nature to share what can be seen as supportive and motivational.
I promised I would share with you my thoughts about the book I am reading 'Peaks and Valleys'. The most important message is that we all go through peaks and valleys in our life. They are connected and intertwined and one does not happen without the other. The key is how we both handle our moments in the valley (the difficult times) and our moments at the peak (the best of times). It's really not so much what happens to us in the valley, it's what we do about it that moves us past these difficult times and this enables us to rise above and reach the peak. It's important that we don't regret any of the moments in our life. All these experiences define us and create our character. Maybe not blending is a good thing. Until next time...
