As 2010 approaches I am reflecting back over my past year. A new job leading a team...my friends who have always been there for me, new colleagues and the realization of a career goal - making it to the Board of Directors for CSTD. It's been a good year! On my quest for all things motivational I'm wondering - what is it that motivates you? What is it that encourages you?
Let me share this thought with you from a book called 'The Art of Encouragement'. 'The root of encouragement is the French word coeur, for heart. To encourage is to put the heart back into someone, to help each other live well. What we need is the courage to claim our own lives, to have the confidence to live with resolution, vitality and purpose'. And this quote I love...'hope is like a road in the country; there never was a road, but when many people walk on it, the road comes into existence'. (Lin Yutang). Until next time...
