There are days like today when I close my eyes and think about the warmth of a hug. There is something encouraging and motivating simply being embraced by another person in this way. I think it's the ability when words escape you to simply reach out and pull another person in close and hug them with warmth and understanding that makes it special. That's why I think of it as a gift.
What amazes me most is how natural and effortless is the act when given with genuine love and care and how wonderful the feeling it brings. Whether it is moments of sadness you are going through or moments of happiness and boundless joy, find a way to reach out and share the gift of a hug. Until next time...
