About the storm...

Hello Friends,

I must admit whenever I am in the middle of a storm, or see one approaching, I get nervous. No matter how often I've driven through the snow all I can think of is safely arriving. I suppose this is very normal or perhaps I just approach it with more apprehension and caution than others. It's inherent in my nature to surround myself with safe travels but sometimes it is the very storms we encounter in our lives that enable us to reach inside and find what it takes to make it through.

Storms come in many different ways and while we most always align it with the weather, the truth is it happens more often through the various situations we face. The key in safely arriving is found by constantly adjusting our attitude. It is in discovering our personal confidence and self worth that we find the strength and insight to realize our happiness and sense of fulfillment. We find success having made it through the storm. Until next time...

  1. Hi Jerry

.....and to better equip ourselves for the next time we face a storm. Sometimes storms are a gift. We find out things we wouldn't have if the storm never hit. We are vunlerable during a storm and relationships play a key role. Its the ones really worth keeping that come out and support you as you weather the storm. They help you find the strength you need and lift you up.
(sometimes support comes in the form of a little book written by a friend)

  2. Donna,

It's nice to be connected with you again. I'm so glad you are following and will look forward to your comments to my posts. I have so often found strength in making it through the storm and in the midst discovering my joy and happiness. One learns never to regret the moments for it is the journey that is most important.
